Skiing and snowboarding in Ski amadé
The Gastein Valley boasts 4 ski areas with over 200 km of pistes. The largest connected ski area in the Gastein Valley is the ski area Angertal. Our farm is situated just 5 minutes away from the valley station of the Schlossalmbahn making our farm an ideal base for your skiing holiday. The whole of the Gastein Valley is part of the Ski amadé, the largest ski association in Austria.
Beginners and intermediate skiers will find family slopes, carving pistes, Funpark, deep snow and mogul pistes. Relax on the sun terrace in front of a rustic ski hut and celebrate a great day’s skiing with friends at après ski. Make use of the free ski bus which runs daily. The ski bus stop is right near our farm.

Cross country skiing, winter walking, tobogganing…
There are plenty of sporting and leisure activities on offer in winter in the Gastein Valley. Freshly-groomed cross country trails entice guests on a excursion into a fabulous winter wonderland. A highlight is the snow-sure high alpine trail at an altitude of 1.600 m in nearby Sportgastein. A variety of winter footpaths tempt guests on romantic walks.
The scenic Gastein Valley passes gently by on a horse-drawn sleigh ride. All you can hear is the snorting of the horses and the sleigh runners gliding along the snow. Guests can ice skate on the natural ice rink at the Kursaal in Bad Hofgastein. Admission is free of charge. Fun for all the family can be had on a toboggan race on the Aeroplanstadl toboggan run.
