Families with children are particularly welcome on our farm. A playground is available for our younger guests to romp around. Visiting our animals in the barn is really exciting. Maybe you can give us a hand and listen the the pigs chomping noisily. Help mum pick fres vegetables and healthy lettuce for lunch from our farm garden. In summer enjoy swimming in the nearby bathing lake. Admission is free of charge.

Agriculture & animals
There are lots of animals on our farm. We milk our cows and they spend the summer up at our mountain hut. Part of this milk is delivered to a dairy, part made into alpine butter and cheese. We also have curly-tailed pigs, cute sheep, wilful goats, free-range chickens and and a donkey who needs lots of attention. Our neighbour’s cats also like to pop by to hunt mice and purr contentedly when stroked.
A history of our farm
Our sunny Tofererhof farm, with its official name of “Königslehen”, was first docmented in 1444. The Toferer family has owned the farm since 1519, hence the name “Tofererhof”. In 1660 the Lenz Family took over the farm and some 170 years the Keil Family became the new owners. Our Family – the Salzmanns – have been owners since 1901 and the farm has been handed down from generation to generation.
